The goal of this project was to improve the usability of a Kanban board for both experienced users and people unfamiliar with task management tools. Existing solutions often felt visually crowded and required too much time to understand. The main challenge was to simplify navigation, make task statuses and priorities easier to scan, and maintain enough flexibility for complex workflows.
I designed a cleaner and more intuitive Kanban dashboard based on user research and an analysis of popular project management tools. The final concept uses clear column grouping, colour-coded statuses, structured task cards, familiar icons, and accessible navigation. The result is a modern, scalable interface that helps users understand their workflow faster, manage tasks more efficiently, and move between List, Kanban, and Gantt views with ease.
